Geri Weis-Corbley The Good News Network
“I used to work in TV news and video production in D.C., mostly freelancing for companies like CNN (the Constantly Negative News). The notion came to me that there should be a good news program. That was 1981. Ten years later I left my career to raise a family in Northern Virginia. When the kids were 6, 4 and 2, the World Wide Web hit the scene and I knew I could create a “Good News Network” online, fulfilling the need to create while inspiring others and staying at home with the kids.” General Colin Powell said in a note: "Thank you for writing your Good News. I enjoyed reading the positive stories... I’m heartened by the goodness and generosity that I see in people... Keep up your good work." Enjoy a “Daily Dose of News to Enthuse’ every morning from the Good News Network, and look for Geri’s new book on Amazon.com beginning in November -- a collection of the most inspiring good news stories of her career. |
