Hi my name is Kathy Seifert. I am a wife, mom and grandmother. I am an average mom who wears many different hats. Like most women in today’s world, I have to work to help meet my family’s many needs. I love wearing an assortment of bracelets! Most of them have been given to me as gifts and have special meaning to me. Over the years, I have either lost or damaged gems, broken chains, or completely lost many of them because of constant wear. It is such a hassle to keep putting on and taking off my jewelry to do every day activities like sleeping, cooking, cleaning, exercising, etc. Plus as you grow older your eyesight isn’t what it used to be and I find it harder to put on my jewelry. Many nights I have woken up with my bracelets rolled up my arm, cutting off my circulation or caught in my blankets. I knew I had to find something to keep them in place so this wouldn’t happen over and over again. One night after waking up, I cut the top of a sock off and placed it over my bracelets and went back to sleep, to my amazement my jewelry stayed under the sock and didn’t bother me at all. I knew then that I had to come up with something better and prettier to wear to protect my jewelry. After many prototypes I invented the Jewel Cuff. My family and friends encouraged me to have it patented and marketed. This process as many of you know took a long time, but finally everything was done. I am now ready to sell the Jewel Cuff!
