Born in Poland, Anna Soltyk received a Master’s degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Experience as a freelance graphic designer included orders from major Polish publishers for numerous book covers and illustrations. Anna has worked with many corporations, for whom she designed brochures, logos, trademarks, posters, as well as packaging.

Throughout the years she has also continued creating oil paintings, pencil and pastel drawings. Nature has always been her greatest inspiration, reflected as a recurrent theme throughout her work. Love of nature began in childhood, when she spent summers in the countryside by the Baltic Sea and in the Tatra Mountains. Inspired by the richness of old Polish folk art and its regional diversity and uniqueness of style, Anna carved linoleum cuts and hand printed them on linen made in the countryside of Poland.

Since immigration from Poland with my husband and two daughters in 1985, Anna Soltyk continued to pursue her love of artistic expression by drawing and painting. In the past few years, she has also explored other artistic fields such as ceramics, weaving and mosaics.

As a member of the Liverpool art Guild Anna Soltyk was involved in several group art shows and is also a member of the Visual arts Committee of the Syracuse Cultural Resources Council.
